One on one we work together to achieve the perfect obedient dog.
PROFESSIONAL DOG OBEDIENCE AND HERDING TRAINING
I train your dog for you and then work with you so you understand your dogs new commands.
MY DOG OBEDIENCE APPROACH WILL WORK FOR YOU
I not only help you to perfect sit, down, heel, stay, come - we work on dog socialization and dog behavior issues too. Dog behavior modification is my specialty. You won't be learning just how to control your dog, but how to talk dog language and teach your dog a little human language too.
For instance, if your dog pulls your arm out of its' socket while taking a walk, we not only look at training him to walk happily by your side with a loose leash, or no leash at all, but also look at changing the pack dynamics with your dog.
When your dog "LEADS" you in your walk you are following the pack leader-your dog that is. He is simply saying come on follow me "human pack" and we'll go explore. It is miscommunication between dog and human. The harder you pull the harder your dog resists and pulls.
It is easy to train your dog to follow you as pack leader while walking. Which among many other things--you learn the very first night of my dog obedience class.
